They say old punks don’t die, they just stand in the back. Well I’ve decided to stand in the back and start a record label.

My name is Jeff Ferguson and I have now crossed the midcentury mark. I decided to start a record label, because I really loved collecting vinyl when I was young. It’s my hope that the love I have for it is conveyed in all of our releases.

Echodelick Records is an independent label dedicated to bringing boundless music to a comprehensible vinyl format.

Why vinyl? The vinyl record is a circle with no beginning and no end. But the contents – THE ART – that goes on it starts and stops. Each time you put the needle to that magical circle, it starts something new inside you.

The record is a commitment – not a one song and skip to another artist kind of playlist- the start of a new relationship between the listener and the artist.

A record is fragile, tangible, substantive.

The feeling that you get when you pull that record off the shelf, the care you take putting it on the turn table. The sound when the needle hits the track.
